Data Analyst





The Data Analyst will report to the Project and Program Manager and will work closely with the clients team. You will be responsible for:

System Development and Maintenance

  • Managing and optimizing a local database for reporting and analytics needs, and making sure it is synchronized with regional database in real-time manner

  • Maintaining and developing tools for data collection & extraction, automatic report creation for various activities

  • Developing complex data analytic models for various purposes such as forecasting, data classification and outlier detection

  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems

Business Analytics and Optimization

  • Tracking key performance metrics of continuous improvement projects across Operations

  • Developing calculation models to optimize customer insight and operations strategy 

  • Supporting clients management team to make critical decision such as strategic planning, resource management, vendor negotiation, financial planning, customer analytics, platform usage details, etc


  • Familiar with Linux / Windows system architecture and programming environment

  • Proficient in at least two scripting language such as VBA Macro, Python, PHP, Linux Shellscript, SQL Query, etc

  • Strong data analysis skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MySQL, MS SQL, Power BI, etc

  • Familiar with statistical/optimization tools (eg. Solver, R, or SAS…) is a plus

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP and HTTP is a plus

  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst

  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)

  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Power BI, Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

  • Highly energetic and self-motivated

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
