Senior Internal IT Technician





The role of the Internal IT Technician is working to ensure the day-to-day smooth running of IT infrastructure and network system, then supporting the Company's best performance externally and internally.


  • Establish networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards

  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)

  • Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with System/Project architects on network optimization

  • Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access

System Security:

  • Select and implement security tools, Firewall policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s internal IT team

    • Ensure the Antivirus up to date and apply to all PC client

    • Manage and enhance security policies for all the infrastructures 

IT Administration:

  • Monitor and checking Internet network connections to ISP(s), remote sites

  • Administer, monitor Zabbix, Cacti Monitoring System.

  • Administer, maintenance Linux system & installing software packages relevant.

    • Administers servers, laptop and desktop computers (including thin clients), printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, smartphones, software deployment.

    • Managing Window AD, DNS, DHCP, File Server, Exchange server, System Center, Virtualization Servers (plan, monitoring, backup, restore, improvement …)

    • Ensure all server and PC is updated with latest Windows Update from Microsoft.

    • Provide support for new employee’s Computer and Network, setup and configuration.

    • Manage Office 365, licensing and related products.

    • Maintain inventory of all IT equipment

Quality improvement tasks:

  • Identify possible risks throughout the operations process and properly communicate to related superiors for solutions

  • Study and share new techniques, practice, tools and share for team members


  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field

  • Have more than 3 years working as an IT Technician in a support/maintenance organization

  • Have strong understanding/knowledge of Network/System Fundamental, router, layer-2/3 switch, wireless của Cisco, HP, Ubiquiti… BGP Multihoming, High Avaiability, Stacking, VRRP, STP, NAC techniques…

  • Have excellent understanding/knowledge of Core Infrastructure (CCNA/MCSA equivalent)

  • Have good understanding/knowledge of Advanced Infrastructure (CCNP/MCSE equivalent), including Designing, Optimizing, and Troubleshooting

  • Have deep experience in Firewall such as Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Juniper, Cisco … (preferable Palo Alto) with features VPN Site-to-Site, Threat Prevention, Antivirus, Sandbox, URL Filtering…

  • Have experience in building and monitoring open source system such as Zabbix, Cacti

  • Have good knowledge of system, storage and Microsoft services such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Radius, WSUS, WDS... from vendors such as HP, Supermicro, Synology

    • Have good knowledge of virtualization system (Hyper-V, VMware vSphere)

    • Have more than 3 years working in SI/ISP/Managed Service is a plus

    • Good communication in English

  • Good logical thinking and problem-solving skills and communication skills

  • Have a business-minded approach to the problem solving process

  • High sense of responsibility, willingness to learn and share, high energy, drive and stamina, attention to details

  • Willingness to cover Technical support during normal business hours and on-call support if required: Day shift – from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (5 days a week);  Evening shift – from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (5 days a week); Night shift – from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (5 days a week).
