In a heartwarming gesture of compassion and support, the Niteco Charity Foundation (NICEF) in Ho Chi Minh City visited Long Hau Primary School on September 7th to provide much-needed assistance to the students.
Long Hau Primary School is home to over 800 students, offering them essential education and support. Among these students, 50 face significant life challenges, making their educational journey even more difficult. Despite the Government's ongoing efforts to assist these students, NICEF recognizes the additional support they require.
As the new school year approached, NICEF stepped in to offer a helping hand, providing essential support to ease their burdens. A total of 24 students were selected to receive support from NICEF. Each student was given a cash gift of 1 million VND. This financial aid will be used to cover health insurance and accident insurance premiums, ensuring their well-being throughout the year.
The upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, a cherished celebration in Vietnamese culture, was also an ideal occasion for NICEF to spread the love by giving away 24 boxes of mooncakes. With these sweet presents, NICEF hopes to bring a sense of warmth and fulfilment during this reunion holiday.
The visit to Long Hau Primary School was a heartwarming experience for the NICEF team. Through our efforts, NICEF has shown that even small acts of kindness can have a profound impact on the lives of those in need. We will continue our mission and extend our helping hand to more children, striving for a brighter future for all.
