Niteco has undertaken a heartwarming initiative to support students at San Lung Day Boarding School, part of Ban Vuoc Primary School, Lao Cai Province, in recovering from the devastating impact of Typhoon Yagi.
Last week, a dedicated team of NICEF volunteers embarked on a journey to San Lung Day Boarding School to deliver essential supplies. These included:

  • Facility Repair Support: A generous allocation of 36 million VND was provided to assist the school in repairing and replenishing boarding equipment damaged by the storm. This ensured that students could continue their education and daily activities in a safe and conducive environment.
  • Nutritional Support: To ensure that 84 students received nutritious meals from October 2024 to May 2025 for the next eight months. NICEF will sponsor 3 meals a day for them, starting in October with a donation of over 22.5 million VND. This vital support played a crucial role in promoting their overall well-being and academic performance. The total sponsorship for this category is approximately 200 million VND (to the end of May 2025).
  • Essential Supplies: Niteco employees wholeheartedly contributed used clothing, school supplies, and other necessary items, providing students with warmth and comfort during their recover
