Li xi cho em: Another successful fundraising project by Nitecans

The goodwill journey of 2024 started in January as Niteco's charity arm - NICEF - kicked off its fundraising project "Red Envelope". The project was a huge success, as we sold 20,000 of the red envelopes traditionally used for the Lunar New Year and raised 37 million VND (USD 1,500).

This is not the first time NICEF has sold red envelopes to fundraise. In the spring of 2023, NICEF had the idea of selling red envelopes to fundraise ahead of the Lunar New Year, as buying them is part of the Vietnamese tradition. The project earned nearly 18 million VND (USD 750). The funds raised as part of the project were used to help children all over Vietnam with charitable projects throughout 2023.
 
Following the success of last year's sale, NICEF decided to double the quantity of produced envelopes for 2024, with the belief that more money could be raised, and more children could benefit from the fundraiser.
 
After 1 month of preparation, we ended up with 4 different designs related to the Dragon - the zodiac animal of 2024. The 4 designs began selling at 8 pieces per set at the beginning of January. And by the end of January, all 20,000 envelopes were sold across Vietnam.

Not only Nitecans are the ones who bought the most, but also the ones who helped NICEF to spread the word to their communities. That was why NICEF could sell the envelopes quickly ^o^

Using this fund wisely, NICEF will have charity projects in 2024 to help more children in Vietnam have a better life.
