Junior Finance Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION

Niteco is growing and we need a Junior Finance Controller to join our Group Controlling Team. Main focus for the Junior Finance Controller will be on financial reporting, analyzing of data and continuous improvements of the financial processes. You will be working closely with the two billing assistants and report to the Group Controller. We are looking for you who can work independently, identify areas for improvement and work out solutions. You need to be into the details and at the same time have an overall picture and understanding of the business processes. Much of the data is structured in a SQL database and we use PowerBI as an analysis tool, which is why you must be willing to learn how to use these.

The ideal candidate will have good command of the English language, hands-on experience of accounting, reporting and analyzing as well as experience and good understanding of systems support for financial processes.

Your daily tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Understand business processes, like the billing process, and focus on process improvement
• Report and analyze customer projects and KPI:s.
• Report and analyze monthly financial data
• Support the Group Controller in consolidation of financial statements for the Group
• Other controlling and ad-hoc tasks

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Language: Good command of English language in writing, speaking and comprehension.
• Qualifications: University degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics or corresponding knowledge.
• Required experience: Experience of accounting and / or reporting and analyzing tasks. Interest in system support for financial processes.
• Ability to collect data from different sources to produce reports, perform analysis and suggest actions for increased performance.
• Ability to work independently in a structured and organized way
• Accountable, proactive and pays attention to details.
• Capability to communicate clearly and build relationships
• Advanced experience of MS Excel.
• Skills in PowerBI and SQL are a plus and willingness to learn these systems a must
• A willingness to be hands-on with all aspects of financial and management information systems is a must.
