JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Revenue Controller / Billing Assistant position is an important and central role within Niteco. The overall aim is to assure a streamlined invoicing process to avoid any inconvenience to the organization and its clients, and to control revenues by using several systems and tools. This role requires an employee highly organized, attentive to details, with very good knowledge in Excel and with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
The position is within Group Accounting and reports to the Group CFO. Niteco is growing fast and has just implemented a new time registration system and is developing improved billing functionality. Apart from monthly billing of our customers, the position includes controlling tasks with focus on revenue and also bookkeeping tasks. We expect the Assistant Revenue Controller / Billing Assistant to continuously suggest improvements to the existing processes. We already have one Assistant Revenue Controller / Billing Assistant and now need an additional one.
The Assistant Revenue Controller / Billing Assistant will work close to the PMOs (Project Management Officers) to coordinate customer contracts and retrieve data from the time registration system in order to invoice our customers according to the terms agreed upon. The position is responsible for, but not limited to:

Preparing files for invoicing and registering these to the accounting system.

Sending invoices to customers.

Reconciliation of sales and balance accounts.

Communicating in English with customers and Key Account Managers in various matters, preparing for invoicing and collection of outstanding receivables.

Sending reminders.

Handling of Accounts payables and receivables.

Prepare and present reports in Excel and Microsoft Power BI for analysis of revenue.

Bookkeeping will also be an important part of this position

Take initiatives in improving on reporting, processes, workflows and client outcomes

Study and share new knowledge, practice, tools and share for team members
-
Actively take part in company activities to contribute building up Niteco's culture

Other ad-hoc tasks if required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree, preferably in Accounting and Finance

Good verbal and written English skills
-
At least 1 year of relevant professional experience

Knowledge in Microsoft Office package (very good in Excel and Power Query)

Willing to learn Microsoft Power BI and SQL
-
Ability to work well in a team

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
