The Web Optimization Manager/CRO Specialist plays a critical role in executing website projects and landing pages for lead generation and eCommerce sales. This person will focus on the tactical execution of programs and build client strategies, data analysis, insights, and creativity. This individual will lead A/B tests from concept to launch, respond to client requests and keep team members and clients accountable for follow-ups and action items. This individual will be a natural communicator between clients and our internal departments such as developer, design, project management, and other stakeholders.  

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will really make an impact as you get to look at the customer journey and identify areas for improvement. The Web Optimization Manager/CRO Specialist will own the A/B testing process, web insights, and analytics.  

  • Increase engagement and conversion rate of our client websites through A/B testing 
  • Design, build and execute split testing, multivariate testing, and other testing approaches for websites and landing pages
  • Use data to drive plans: perform ROI analysis and guide decisions on opportunities and marketing/conversion effectiveness
  • Create a detailed plan and timeline to align internal and external stakeholders of what needs to test for the next 3, 6, and 12 months
  • Managing weekly or daily meetings, scheduling, capturing meeting takeaways, and distilling them down into reference notes and action items
  • Collaborating with designer and developer to move tests through implementation while balancing deadlines, quality, and scope
  • Use analytics platforms and other tools to monitor and analyze the outcomes from the tests 
  • Produce and present testing roadmap and CRO performance reports
  • Create design, content, and development guidelines based on findings from winning tests
  • Stay on top of Conversion Rate Optimization trends, new tools, and best practices 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience with website and e-Commerce
  • Four-year college degree required in Marketing, UX Design, Analytics, or related course of study
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficiency in using Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Optimizely, VWO or other website analytics optimization tools 
  • Expertise in using web analytics and sales data to drive decisions, identify opportunities for improvement, and to validate the success of key site changes/enhancements
  • Solid understanding of statistical significance when analyzing experiment results
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
