Email Marketing Team Lead
We are seeking a highly engaged, enthusiastic Email Marketing Team Lead to manage and optimize our electronic direct marketing operations. This role will oversee automated email workflows and own the end-to-end delivery of campaigns for our international clients. This position also requires a data-driven mindset, attention to detail, strategic thinking and a deep understanding of CRM and email platforms.
This role will report to the Digital Marketing Services Manager, lead a team of EDM specialists, and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, including project management, development, design, and web analytics.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead, coach and develop your team, allocate workload and ensure high-quality delivery across concurrent projects spanning different brands and markets.
- Own the client relationship by setting expectations, leading regular client communications, presenting campaign results, and resolving delivery issues so clients remain satisfied and confident in our work.
- Develop and execute comprehensive EDM strategies, with a strong focus on the post-purchase customer lifecycle.
- Manage the setup, testing, and deployment of one-off, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven email campaigns.
- Ensure all email designs and layouts are mobile-friendly and optimized for user experience.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and overall campaign execution.
- Analyze campaign results to identify trends, provide actionable recommendations, and execute A/B tests that continuously improve engagement.
- Integrate and continuously refine AI tools within the team's daily workflows to improve delivery speed and operational efficiency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of practical experience with email and marketing-automation platforms, database integrations, and the ability to adapt quickly to new tools.
- Proven client-facing experience, with the ability to build trust, manage daily communications, and keep stakeholders confident in our delivery.
- Experience leading team and managing multiple concurrent projects across different markets or brands.
- Strong understanding of email best practices, including responsive HTML design, list segmentation, deliverability, A/B testing, and email performance metrics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to evaluate and improve EDM program performance.
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience using AI models and tools in real marketing work, with concrete examples.
- A plus: Experience connecting EDM or automation platforms to AI models via APIs, MCP integrations, or agentic workflows.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and detail-oriented, with the ability to solve problems independently.
