We’re looking for a talented and driven Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to transform raw footage into engaging, polished video content for web, social media, campaigns, and other digital channels. You’ll work closely with our Brand team to bring stories to life, ensuring every video aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audiences across US/European and ANZ. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Motion Graphics (50%): Enhance videos with motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects to elevate storytelling and production quality.
  • AI Tools for Video Creation (20%): Proficiently apply AI-powered tools throughout the video creation workflow to produce creative outputs and improve its efficiency.
  • Video Editing (25%): Edit and assemble raw footages including types such as interviews, internal communications content, event recaps into cohesive, high-quality videos aligned with project objectives and brand guidelines, including subtitles, color grading, and sound design.
  • Capturing (5%): Support basic filming/shooting tasks as needed.
  • Adapt videos into multiple formats and aspect ratios for different channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.).
  • Ensure consistent visual style, brand identity, and messaging across all video content.
  • Stay up to date with video trends, editing techniques, and platform best practices, particularly for US/European markets.
  • Manage file organization and archiving to ensure safe, accessible storage.
  • Perform other tasks as requested.

STRONG PLUS IF HAVING

  • Ability to draft production plans.
  • Experience and knowledge about camera equipment and basic filming/shooting skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Film Making or related undergraduate programs.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., Video Editor, Motion Designer, or Multimedia Editor).
  • Familiar with exploring and applying US/European visual and aesthetic tastes in design work; experience working on projects for US/European markets are the strong pluses.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • Strong proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience with motion graphics and visual effects using tools like Adobe After Effects (or similar).
  • Solid understanding of 2D design fundamentals and principles - layout, composition, color theory, typography - with a strong aesthetic eye for still-frame design that underpins great motion graphics.
  • Ability to develop storyboards and consult on video direction/treatment - required for Senior level, a plus for Mid-level.
  • Good sense of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and music selection.
  • Solid understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, compression, and export settings for different platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in color grading, sound balancing, and visual consistency.
  • Good command of English for understanding briefs, feedback, and references (written and spoken).
